This final project work was concerned with the designed and making of a womens bags and usability testing. The bags were made of tanned leather in the form of a circle. The bag is meant to be a week-day bag and it was through this criteria the test user assessed the design. A second test bag was made through the response of the test user and the problems of the first prototype ironed out. After this a prototype of the bag was made. Usability testing was continually applied to the design. The theory of usability was studied using Jacob Nielsen and Irmeli Sinkkonenīs usability psychology model.
The report concludes with an evaluation of usability testing as related to leather bags and the authors thoughts about the next stage of the development of leather hand bags in future courses. Bag design and usability were the chief themes within the project.
