The objective of this final work study was to investigate the supply of craft courses in the author’s place of residence, improve these courses and hopefully provide employment for herself. The aim was to apply adventurous methods to the teaching of crafts. The author carried out research concerning the supply and demand of such courses by means of a questionnaire, focused on special techniques: root work and splint work. The work provides instruction and information packs for the chosen techniques. As a result the author planned three courses in an adventurous manner to be aimed for example at companies who provide adventure services. The basic structure of the courses could, however, be applied to other types of course or technique.During the project the author achieved the stated aims and believes she may have improved her chances of employment.
