THE OPEN UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES

The tuition at the Open University of Applied Sciences is in accordance with the degree requirements of Kuopio Academy of Design, and the studies are adaptable to persons representing many different fields. Students do not need to be taking a degree programme in the field of training in question. Students in the Open Polytechnic can supplement a diploma or enhance the knowledge and skills they need in working life. A student who later intends to apply for a degree programme at a Polytechnic can thus acquire an insight into the subject for study, its contents and study modes.

Any studies completed can be counted as credits towards a corresponding Polytechnic degree programme at some later date.

The tuition is mainly given during the day.
