Exhibitions

Exhibitions are a major means of external communication for Kuopio Academy of Design. The Academy’s active exhibition programme is a way of telling interest groups and the public at large about the Academy’s design and graphic design know-how, innovations and future trends.

Taitemia Gallery operating in conjunction with the Academy puts on temporary exhibitions displaying the work of design and graphic design professionals and students. In addition to the Academy’s own theme exhibitions, it hosts visiting exhibitions from Finland and abroad. Taitemia Gallery has a light exhibition hall of 128 m2. In addition to Taitemia Gallery, the Academy’s Kellari Gallery and foyer are also available for the Academy’s or its students’ own exhibitions.
