THE DEPARTMENT OF CERAMICS AND GLASS DESIGN

The studies in ceramics and glass design combine several fields of science and the arts. Students learn both to design products and to execute the design in practice. The product development and design cover objects and utensils made from different materials, ceramics and glassware for use in bathrooms, toilets and spas, interior furnishings, sculpture, works for public premises and art handicrafts.

The studies include visual expression, design of the mass, glaze and pattern, and practice in manual and industrial techniques.
