THE DESIGN FORUM The Design Forum is the research, product development and service centre for design innovations at Kuopio Academy of Design. It combines the Academy’s R&D, teaching and learning with practical working life to form a broad learning environment. It is a centre producing, consolidating and maintaining expertise in design and graphic design and forging and maintaining contacts between the Academy and enterprise. These contacts are created by means of communication and training, and in the form of services via Design Forum projects. The Design Forum provides services for companies and organisations in the following fields of excellence within its core competence: • research, design and product development in design and graphic design In addition to the services of the Design Forum Kuopio Academy of Design runs a lunch cafeteria Kafetemia and offers conference services in the form of conference premises and catering. |
