THE DEPARTMENT OF PRODUCT DESIGN

This department provides training in product design, planning, development and manufacture. The items to be designed may vary considerably from unique pieces of jewellery right up to massive conveyors and heavy machinery. The knowledge produced is communicated to interested groups by means of various presentation techniques and models.

As students progress, they choose one of the following options: Industrial Design, Interior and Furniture Design and Metalwork and Jewellery Design.
