The research is evaluating the gualities of plastic and its suitability for acting as a printing-base. The written report is looking into the gualities and ecological aspects of plastic. The data involved was collected from companies which are concerned with plastic and relevant literature was researched as well. The report will descripe the plastic materials and colours which were used in the test. It will also explain what were the gualities of the mentioned products in the printing process. The following tests were conducted during the research: weather- test, colourwashing-test and temperature-test of the colours. Dry- and wetfriction-test and foldingtest of the colours were also included in the research-tests. The research report tells in detail how the samples were printed and how the tests were carried out: the test-result are reported in this work. The samples of the used plastics, printed sampleserie and the reacted samples are included in the research report. The brochures of the used colours as well as the teststandards can be found in the appendix. Information about operating light-and water-exposure apparatures and the names of the participant and companies involved are also stated the appendix section.
