The final project work includes a theatre stage décor designed for Poleeni Theatre in Pieksämäki. The play is 'Vaahteramäen Eemeli'. The final project work is a process description of the theatre stage décor. The aim of this work is to write a visual document of the designing and finishing phases of the stage decors. Morover, the aim is analyse and estimate in relations to the goals set by the author. Furthermore, the aim of the work is to express the author's abilities in theatre staging. The author applies her knowledge experience, gathered information and works of reference in designing. The aim of designing is to create a stage décor which is technically functional, practical and visually impressive. The designing process consists image designing of the stage decors as well as of the technical designing of the set. The designing process is also a dialogue between the stage designer and director. The result of this final project work is a theatre staging which was realized in cooperation with the stage designer, director and theatre's technical employees.
