The subject of the final work was to design a concept for a transport-container. The container was designed to be used with a light truck. The final work was partly based on the project which was briefed by Jussi Sarvela. There was also another final work linked to this work. That work was made by Markus Saarikivi. Saarikivi designed a light truck, which was going to be used with the container. The container and the light truck were going to be integrated into one compact product system. The common aim of both works was to fit the concepts together.In this work, the main aim was to analyze different forms and utilize the results in designing. The main method of the work was visualization analysis. That method was to help to find out what kind of forms people like and how they link forms to transport vehicles and containers. The visualization analysis will be done in co-operation with Saarikivi. The User Image Tool was the tool for the visualization analysis. The User Image Tool works is a digital program on the Internet. It was developed by Kuopio Academy of Design and Lahti Polytechnic.The design of the container was based on the results of the visualization analysis and other methods used in this work. The concept produced in this final work will be modelled an animated.
